The book will be available for purchase on site for $20.

The Gaspé Pirates Company

Ahoy! The Gaspé Pirates Company will be setting up camp at the Historic Site for an immersive day full of adventure.
Step into the daily life of 18th-century pirates through live demonstrations, captivating stories, and conversations with costumed historical reenactors. It’s a unique opportunity to explore the fascinating world of buccaneers and privateers!
A perfect activity for the whole family, where visitors of all ages can learn, be amazed… and perhaps even encounter a few pirates looking for new recruits!

Historical Talk – Percé: Kingdom of the Fishery *presented in french

Discover the fascinating history of Percé, the true heart of the fishery under the French Regime and a major centre for merchant companies such as Robin, LeBoutillier, Biard, and LeBas-Valpy.
In this engaging presentation, historian, heritage consultant, and former editor-in-chief of Gaspésie magazine, Jean-Marie Fallu, will take you on a journey through the lives of the people of Percé and the surrounding islands. He will explore the religious, educational, political, judicial, and commercial aspects of their history, while also sharing the legends that shaped Percé’s reputation and highlighting its remarkable built heritage.

Afternoon on the Veranda – Boots Fire

Pull on your boots and join us for a lively afternoon with Boots Fire! Relax on the Historic Site’s veranda and enjoy an entertaining mix of country music and other popular favourites in a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
Whether you’re an experienced dancer or trying it for the first time, a line dancing lesson will help you find the rhythm and join in the fun.
A beloved tradition of our summer programming, this event is perfect for enjoying a great afternoon with family and friends!

Creative Workshop – With Artist Anick Loisel
Let your creativity flow during a mixed-media canvas workshop inspired by the historic buildings and rich heritage of the Historic Site.
Guided by artist Anick Loisel, you’ll explore a variety of artistic techniques in a friendly and welcoming atmosphere, whether you’re a beginner or an experienced artist. It’s a wonderful opportunity to see our heritage from a fresh perspective while creating a one-of-a-kind piece of art.

Traditional Dance Workshop – With Dans Cuisine

Join Dans Cuisine and experience the joy of traditional Québec and Gaspé folk dancing! In a warm and welcoming atmosphere, you’ll learn the basic steps and classic dance figures while moving to the lively sounds of traditional music.
No experience is necessary—this workshop is open to participants of all ages and skill levels. It’s a wonderful opportunity to get moving, share a fun experience with family and friends, and celebrate our living cultural heritage. Dans Cuisine’s workshops are known for their friendly, inclusive approach, where the joy of dancing always takes centre stage.
